Celebration

April 2024 is cause for celebration for us here at The Wellbeing Collective. Founded in 2014 by Amy Hobson and her wife Joan Brock, the company has seen incredible growth and continues to have another exciting and innovative year planned for our tenth anniversary!

Offering individuals, organisations and communities simple solutions to complex issues, The Wellbeing Collective prides itself on continuing to provide a wide range of flexible people development services and digital products. Now an accredited, awarded and national partner in the public sector, we continue to work across all sectors.

All our values continue to contribute to the health and wellbeing of those we work with. This includes our golden thread – positive psychology. By using positive psychology in all that we do, we ensure our values are embedded into every conversation we have had since day 1.

Over the last 10 years we have supported over 12,000 people directly, 50+ organisations, across 21 counties and nationally.

NHS England and Passe-Partout: Embedding Wellbeing Conversations

We are proud to be delivering a face to face and digital national training programme, in partnership with Passe-Partout, for NHS staff that enables them to hold safe and effective wellbeing conversations.

Our programme is inclusive, accessible and recognises the diverse demographic of the NHS workforce.

As an LGBTQ+ organisation ourselves, we are especially proud to have worked with the NHS Confederation to increase LGBTQIA+ awareness and representation.

Most recently, we were part of a panel for a webinar that over 70 people joined, and it made us realise what a powerful voice we could have if we co-created communities of practice.

We have also been part of a podcast series with the NHS Confederation, where we had conversations with senior leaders from Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust to talk about what authentic leadership looks like for them, and how they demonstrate authenticity in the workplace.

Health and Wellbeing Conversations with Passe-Partout

We are proud to have co-worked with a partner consultancy firm, Passe-Partout, on a wellbeing programme for NHS England which won the Personnel Today award for Health & Wellbeing (Public) on 15th November 2022. The judges stated, ‘this wellbeing programme was brilliant from start to finish with an insightful understanding of the problem they were attempting to solve: real empathy and collaborative work with brilliant results. Truly innovative and inclusive.’ In March 2024, we also developed a digital version of this course which went live nationally.

We are proud to have worked with London Borough of Waltham Forest and to have played our part in them winning the Best Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Employer award at LGC Workforce Awards 2023. The judges recognised the work for ‘Delivering Impact, Empowering Equity and Embracing Inclusion’.
